And that’s before the homework, piano recital, calling the guy to fix the faucet thingy, remembering the conference call after dinner, soccer practice, dad’s birthday, card for mom, a quick trip to the grocery store for milk, packing a special drink* (but not soda or glass bottle) for the field trip and scrubbing the blood (or barbecue sauce?) out of son’s dress shirt for the school concert and come to think of it where is my daughter’s long black skirt she balled up in her backpack after the holiday concert in December, the one that might not fit her anymore, ughh, the laundry, oh no, the piles of dirty laundry…
