Emily Bazelon takes on the Family Dinner over at Slate or as she calls it “The Mac-and-Cheese Effect“. She talks about the mysterious relationship between families eating together and children’s well-being. NPR did a recent segment too thanks to a new study out of Brigham Young suggesting mothers and fathers who eat with their kids on a regular basis also appeared to be happier at work and home. Yes, we’re talking correlations here – so who knows what the true relationship is here.
Odd, this is the second post this week about research out of Brigham Young University. See my previous one about breastfeeding out of the Mormon school. Both also about eating (or drinking!).
